Gary will be extinct soon.
Doubt any others were named Derek.

Dead Nan and Grandad names are always trendy. When I was a kid, all old ladies were called Flo(rence) and Lilly, and old men were Jack and Alf(ie). Now they've all popped their clogs, every other kid has these names.
Circle of life I guess. Still, not likely to see Fanny or Adolf for a good while

I know from my job that there are a staggering amount of stupid names about.
A few of the "old" style boys names still exist, Kenneth is one I can recall, but not many. "Old" female names are coming back in. Girls named Lily/Lyla or any variant of either of those names with the suffix "Rose" comes up a lot.
